I have tried the Taro Milk from Milksha ($33), the shop next door but never here so I went on OpenRice to check it’s reviews - pretty high! So I gave it a go ordering a fairly similar drink. I requested no sugar and no ice as the friendly staff told me the QQ taro tasting and Pearl like balls as well as the taro mush is already sweet enough. Although the milk didn’t taste as rich as Milksha, I felt like they gave me more balls and sand so it took me a while to finish everything after the milk was done. The mush was so flavourful and I really did enjoy the process of finishing it.
The staff also kindly have my drink left in the fridge for a while as I had to do some quick errands while waiting for it, such considerate service earns my respect even more. If you’re a student wearing uniform or have a student card, you can even have $3 dollars off the drink so make sure you present your proof to them.
