There are lots of people in this shopping mall during weekends (and weekdays lunch time of course). When the redecoration began and closed up a lots of restaurant, the situation became worser.
This day, I went there with another 3 friends. In order to search for a table of 4, it was difficult. Thus the 15 minutes waiting was giving to the waiting of combining 4 seats.
Then we went to buy the food one by one. I chose the mixed vegetable salad (big) so that I could choose 4 difficult type of vegetable. The vegetable were as good as usual, with different colour vegetable means that there were different vitamins. I was nearly full after finishing the big salad.
My another friend told me that the soup (you can add $18 to buy the soup when you buy food) was really delicious. So I also added the soup. I understand whey my friend love the soup because it was very creamy. It was not the kind of "soup for the set lunch" with nothing inside and just miso. It was the soup with quality. Just $18 is very reasonable.
When we came here of course because of the coffee. But as I had the soup already, I did not order the coffee. But my friend ordered and said that the coffee was much better than the Starbucks type. The milk layer was thick enough. (but you have to take the sugar and staw yourself outside in the takeaway section) One of my friend even drank two cups of coffee!
I was quick full but my friends wanted to try the dessert! As I joined them to eat a piece of cake. The decoration was beautiful as usual. The staff prepared the plate first so that they can save some time. The cake was made of chestnut at the cover. It was very chestnut. But I did not find any flavour of passion fruit in the cake! But from the name of the cake it should be combine of both! I continued to eat the "heart" of the cake it was still milk flavour. Finally, when I reach the bottom, I thought it was just a piece of biscuit (and as I was full, I think of not eating it). On top of the biscuit was a layer of jelly. And the jelly was having passion fruit flavour! That is it! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy very much of the passion fruit jelly layer, as it was too sour. Because I finished the sweet part of the cake (i.e. the milk "heart") and eat the jelly individually, it became too sour. I should mix them well and eat altogether.
Other Info. :
Maybe the staff were fresh, it seems to be a bit crowed outside the cashier counter and the order counter. Customers did not know where to queue. The management should improve this.
