I dont normally leave comments when I go onto this website but tonight's dining experience was really once in a lifetime - An unsatisfactory face icon is not enough to express my anger and disappointment. Service is extremely BAD!!! The waiters and waitresess all look pretty young, that's ok, i personlly admire restaurant owners to give more opportunities to young and energectic pple,but for god's sake, all i see here are no smiley and agitated faces with HUGE attitude problems. I asked for hot water - this waitress called Deki said no hot water (by then,we've already open the charged bottles of still water). She replied in a rude, monotonic tone 'No hot water, but if you like, hot lemon water'. erm.. ok fine.. thought she's new so asked another guy to come over.. His name is Hay..Same question, this time, he gave me a whole story of how hot water can affect quality of coffee beans.. ??!! what??!! (actually couldnt really hear him cos he was talking like a mice and my friend had to read from his lips). OK. so no hot water..
Next, our appetizers. Same guy, Hay came over and mumbled. I couldnt hear him so I asked him if he could repeat again but in a clearer, louder voice.. suddenly all i heard was him yelling back at me - Foie Gras with apple slices.. I was shocked!! I was like.. you dont have to SHOUT at me.. he's like you asked me to repeat louder.. i said, yes but not shouting!! I didnt hear what he said afterwards but according to my fiancee who went completely mad - he called me stupid..
These pple who serve here definitely have problems and they really need to sort themselves out. We've come here for food and services..
If 798 unit's goal is to make it big and successful - they better do some re-thinking cos their staff have so far offended quite a lot of customers..
Causeway Bay 798 - food is no good either...
I'm sorry.. but no chance of coming back.. you've completely ruined my evening.. my casual dining experience can be tried somewhere else...
