這餐廳是朋友堆介的,覺得環境得舒服,因為我們是坐圓桌,所以聊天得方便,食物方面,我尤其喜愛那tomato cheese pizza ,因為餅底有點煙韌,味道不會太濃,清清的,另外,更喜歡那bread pudding,pudding軟滑,bread脆脆的,可惜雪糕太快溶溶掉了。整體很滿意。

刀下去已經知道他真的燒的太乾了! 一點肉汁都沒有!
雖然豬肉味還是很香, 相信用料也是上乘的, 但燒成這樣... 簡直是失望到極點!

本來知道他們的甜品很有名, 也想試一下, 但他連招牌菜都...
所以還是放棄了, 去別的地方吃甜品好了...

14.6.2013 (五)明明已經吃飽了,還打算散步幫助一下消化。走了不到十分鐘,第二個胃就響起! 哈哈,女生都是甜魔的手下敗將。正值飯後甜品時間,厚福街的甜品小店都大排長龍..... 朋友想坐得舒適一點,提議到樓上食店798 Unit & Co.。多年前曾在此吃過晚飯,記憶中感覺良好,環境燈光帶點暗,裝修雅致兼空間寬敞,挺適合朋友聚會聊天。 香蕉拖肥批記得當初曾被那厚厚的忌廉嚇到,久別重逢,忍不住大口大口吃下,忌廉入口依然輕柔幼滑,吃罷亦不會感到飽膩。與伴碟的焦糖香蕉一同進食,換來香甜的味道。焗麵包布丁配海鹽雪糕濕軟的布丁充滿香濃牛奶味,但不甜,剛好。麵包沒有過濕也不乾,面層更焗得微焦香脆。可惜沒有提子,少了一份咬口。伴碟的海鹽雪糕,口感其實比較像雪芭。但味道帶咸的雪糕還是第一次吃,淡淡鹽香但感覺清新,能平衡布丁的甜膩感。邊吃甜品邊聊天,實在是女生聚會的最佳節目。

今天到尖沙咀餐廳吃飯,服務生給我們帶位,位子在吧台旁狹窄的走道。一開始我就覺得不怎麼舒服了所以請服務生幫我們換位,眼看餐廳未到用餐時間還有很多空間,但服務生卻對我說沒其他位子了,不允許讓我們換位。坐著坐著點餐時由於走道狹窄就被來往的人撞著,我就知道會有這種問題所以不高興的我還是要求換位!但餐廳的人不顧客人感受還是堅持不讓我們換位!最後生氣地離開該餐廳免得花了錢還吃得這麼不開心!我實在百思不解這麼多位子為什麼不允許我們換位?做生意做到這麼沒彈性嗎?什麼餐廳不吃也罷!

Bread was served warm as we arrived, balsamic vinegar was provided but oil/vinegar ratio wasnt quite right, my bread ended up soaked in oil. Prawns are fresh, firm and tender, great, but not so great was the linguine, it was a bit bland, I could sense it was stir fried with a bit of oil and herbs, but it lacks other seasoning.


Similarly the other day I had risotto at another 798 in Central and it was terrible. So probably you might want to avoid the pasta/risotto and try other things.

Pork tenderloin is one of their signature dishes here in 798, and it did not disappoint. Pork was cooked well and still juicy, thats why I liked this dish. With the honey mustard, the sauce adds a slight excitement to the pork, they matched quite well.

Banoffee pie is definitely one of my favourite dessert of all time, I used to finish one pie on my own a few years ago, and this taste of this pie just brought me back to the old days.

Well I certainly do not have the appetite I had before so we shared the pie.

The cream had no shortage of banana taste and it was so rich that it humiliated the piece of real banana right next to it. The pie wasn't the best in the world but it was good.

It was interesting how they sort of glazed syrup on the piece of banana, it was slightly hard that it did hurt a bit when we tried to crush it with our gum.

The other dessert we ordered was the ginger sort of pancake thingy, I forgot the name of it but it tasted average. The ice-cream was good tho.

To sum up, I would say some dishes were just mediocre, but the pie and the pork were good ones, and good value for 文ey as well.

This is a decent place for a casual dinner with no nonsense and at a very affordable price.

sausage sampler, 有四款腸, 但味道也不見突出, 配上的sauce 也太辣.

squid & squid ink risotto, 墨魚汁頗厚身, 意大利米的咬口剛好, 味道入口也可以.

pappardelle with mushrooms & black truffle cream, 這個深得筆者歡心, 黑松露味道濃郁, 香氣撲鼻, 意大利麵條吸收了那些黑松露汁精華, 美味得很.

skillet lasagna with smoked eggplant, 這個lasagna, 席間的朋友也一致討厭它, 筆者試一口, 其實口感可以, 只是那煙燻的味道有點過火, 使其整體味道不太討好.

chargrilled US thick cut pork loin chop, 第一次看見豬也可以厚切, 起初有點擔心,豬肉會否因此而不夠熟, 但吃下去並沒有這個問題. 味道很一般, 看來是gimmick 多一點.

caprese pizza, 這個蕃茄水牛芝士薄餅, 真的不濟. 味道很淡, 芝士香缺乏, 蕃茄味道單調, 餅底也不特別脆或帶有麵粉香, 不太討好.

signature banoffi pie, 這個香蕉拖肥批, 香蕉上舖上脆的焦糖片, 香甜好吃, 有誠意. 批的餅底是鬆化的曲奇, 也好吃. 餅上的香蕉mousses 也很香濃, 整體可以的.

key lime cheese cake, 相比下這個cheesecake 便很普通, 沒有什麼特別.

a different bread pudding, 這個賣相不錯, 試一口, 真的熱騰騰, 很香蛋味和麵包味, 質感外脆內軟, 很高水準.

因為一早訂位,所以不用等位,亦成為了我們的老地方,好味不在話啦,上菜時間夠快,又不急,又有人情味,主任又會主動走埋黎問菜色味道如何,夠親切!近年每次朋友生日都會係呢餐廳慶祝,貪佢有個位置食煙,而且價錢係尖沙咀黎講比起諾士彿台抵食得多,值得推介!Like

雖然已經過左10日,但係都係決定補返個食評....第1次到呢間餐廳, 上到樓梯一入門口感覺不錯, 仲諗住係好嘈好酒吧既感覺, 點知一入門口就係OPEN KITCHEN, 見到有幾個廚師喺度整緊D麵糰, 餐廳用左好多紅酒樽去裝飾, 感覺幾RAW但係又幾有特色。星期六中午約2點到, 食客唔多, 梳化位都未坐滿, 揀左坐喺個露天花園仔隔離, 落地玻璃加上陽光, HEA住坐下都幾舒服。叫左2個SET LUNCH, 一個PIZZA同一個PASTA, MAIN COURSE不過不失, 有進步空間, PIZZA太乾, PASTA份量有點少, 但有湯有包有甜品有COFFEE/TEA, 食晒成個SET都OK夠飽既。埋單210蚊, 尖沙咀上樓餐廳又坐得OK舒服, 離開時仲諗住可以多個落腳點。

Other Info. : 一星期過後, 友人同我講佢今日又去嗰度LUNCH, 因為同事話WEEKDAY買4送1定買5送1, 佢問我記唔記得上次一入門口帶位個WAITRESS, 我話我有印象因為當時大家有講過到底係WAITER定WAITRESS, 友人問我有冇留意到個WAITRESS, 我話冇啦, 咁佢又喺度陰陰嘴笑, 問友人做咩呀?識得佢架?友人話我有冇望到佢條頸上面有D乜野, 當然我話冇喎….(心諗最多咪有撻瘀左既紫紅色﹗)佢話, 一入去就見到個WAITRESS上面有隻2寸咁大既小強﹗﹗﹗﹗ 唉….. 咁講完我都唔敢再上去,好佩服友人仲有膽量再次光顧,我就怕怕了….

之前試過特燈去試times sqaure 的798 Unit & Co, 點知原來已經結業. 早排同朋友行完街, 下午茶時間經過位於厚福街的798, 便入去一嚐.麵包很硬,又吾暖, 牛油亦吾香, 完全表現到"免費無好野"的精髓同時亦好吾中意放麵包的碟, 感覺很殘舊.Classic Caesar ($88)生菜絲,花士,麵包粒,烘過的煙肉再加上一只pouch egg.生菜很新鮮,清新爽口. 芝士和煙肉令沙律的味道更多完化, 脆脆的麵包粒是凱撒沙律不能缺少的材料之一.把pounch egg 與蔬菜拌著一起吃, 很開胃健康的一道前菜.Wild Mushroom and Truffle Pappardelle ($125)不同種類的菌類令整個意粉充滿田園風味, 松露的香味留在口腔久久未有散去.寬條麵看似份量小,但吃下去很夠飽. 唯一不足的是醬汁少了一點, 吃到最後有一點乾.

同舊同事 o係尖沙咀食完晚餐, 之後轉移陣地 join 埋另一個同事去左 798 食甜品順便傾多陣計~差不多 9:30pm 去到, 唔太 full...不過有 d 嘈~Order o左:- Bread Pudding 配海鹽雪糕- 香蕉拖肥個海鹽雪糕感覺好正, 咸咸地...好特別~個 bread pudding 上面 d 麵包焗得好脆, 而下面個 pudding 就好 creamy!由於份量都幾大, 食食下都覺得幾滯...同甜左 d~今餐由朋友請客, 多謝多謝 ^^
