Golden Phoenix Restaurant is a long-standing steakhouse founded in 1969 that specializes in iron plate steak.Compared to the original branch in Prince Edward, the TST branch is more spacious and provides a wide range of menu including seafood and HK style lunch sets.I always order the same items because I know these are the best - borscht and tenderloin with garlic and black pepper sauce.The soup with tons of veggies was appetizing as usual. The steak wasn't over-tenderized and still maintained

The soup with tons of veggies was appetizing as usual. The steak wasn't over-tenderized and still maintained the meaty texture. Nice sear on the outside and served rare as I requested. The chopped garlic elevated the flavors of the meat. Huge portion.
We bought our own wine to pair with the steak. Corkage was $50 per bottle which was reasonable.
