This restaurant provides excellent Chinese food, in specific Shanghai-ese food, in a reasonable price. The environment is decent, with a touch of Shanghai vibe. Every table will be served with tea and peanuts.We ordered a traditional Shanghai veggie starter(豆腐馬蘭頭), which has tofu and vegetable cut into very tiny pieces and mixed together. For main dish, we ordered Plum Spareribs(梅子排骨), Crab Dumplings(蟹粉小籠包) and Dan Dan Noodles(擔擔麵).
Plum spareribs was sweet with a crispy surface. Loved it much.
Crab Dumplings got lots of hot soup inside, so do not gallop in, otherwise you will have a burnt tongue.
Dan dan noodle is noodles in spicy soup with peanut better. It sounds like a weird combination, but trust me its so nice and satisfying.
Dessert is also a must try. Highly recommend Chinese Soufflé with Red Bean Paste(高力豆沙), you will not regret!
