Feels like I travelled to Korea for korean bbq! All side dishes, including kimchi, pickles, lettuce, salad, steamed egg around the barbecue grill are refillable. I particularly like the kimchi! Kimchi served in a lot of Korean restaurants in HK are mostly on the sweeter side to fit Hk peoples preference more, which is quite different from those you eat in Korea. But kimchi served in this place just reminds me of Korea immediately. Sour and spicy but slightly balanced by sweetness, very appetising.
🥘Bean Paste Stew with Seafood and Beef Brisket
Deonjangjigae is one of the traditional dish of Korea. Made of deonjang, which is soybean paste. The stew is deeply flavoured in fermented soybean paste, amazingly with some Unami taste. The broth is so rich in earthy flavour that makes the stew a good combination with rice. Loaded with ingredients like vegetables, mushrooms, beef briskets, the stew is also quite filling.
🥩Beef Outside Skirt
Other meat is fairly good but this one is definitely my favourite. The meat is decently presented. You can already expect a tender texture from its nicely distributed fat meat portion. Meat is not much seasoned which is acceptable as you can taste the beef flavour and feel free to season it whatever way you like, for me, simply kimchi hahaa.
