There are quite a few izakayas in Tin Hau and Matane is one of the newer ones. Came here for lunch. Ordered Japanese Kabayaki whole eel donburi set 原條日本蒲燒鰻魚丼飯 $148 . The set comes with soup, salad and a snack to choose from the menu. What a happy surprise 😀 to be getting such a huge plate of Japanese eel (unagi) on rice. I thought it would have come the usual bento 🍱 box style 🤣 . The eel was quite delicious but I was rather disappointed as the rice was a little raw (not well cooked).
