After a long day walking around Hong Kong we spotted this cute little shop on the corner in TKO. “You can’t mess up mussels” we thought…. Pro - Decor is lovely, feels authentic
Con - early 2000s club music forcing us to shout our order at the staff.. not great..
Taste:
Pro - Chips were warm
Con - mussels were rubbery and overcooked
Con - huge shells and tiny mussels meant that we didn’t have a lot of the actual meat for our 1/2 kg
Con - 20% of shells were closed, so there were hardly any mussels to eat
Con - pina colada mocktail tasted like diluted coconut cream
Day after:
Massive con - 2 cases of food poisoning
There are lots of great restaurants in TKO. Try any other one…. Your intestines will thank me.
