I had been going to Dumpling Yuan on a regular basis since 2004. The shop used to be across the road. The family managing the place used to be absolutely lovely , warm and welcoming. and the food was to die for. I decided to take some family members visiting HK to Dumpling Yuan last Saturday. It was not even peak time. The man managing the place was extremely rude and unpleasant. We had ordered six dishes for 6 people, which doesn't sound unreasonable. The family managing the place used to be absolutely lovely , warm and welcoming. and the food was to die for. I decided to take some family members visiting HK to Dumpling Yuan last Saturday. It was not even peak time. The man managing the place was extremely rude and unpleasant. We had ordered six dishes for 6 people, which doesn't sound unreasonable. When we asked for 6 glasses for the 2 bottles of water we had ordered, the owner just refused to give them to us. Meanwhile he was happily serving the next table with warm free water. No shortage of glasses, just very rude!!
The Dumplings which used to be  fresh and scrumptious were soggy and most of the dishes were a disappointment.
