Today I arrived the restaurant at 1pm and ordered spring roasted chicken with french fries, the dish was served around 130pm, when I cut opened the spring chicken, I can see a channel of blood coming out from the chicken,  I informed the waitress politely and 2 waitresses came to my table and they seemed to be quite shocked too when they saw the blood (but no apology) and offered to bring it back to the kitchen.  145pm one waitress brought back the chicken and I was actually quite worried to fin

Today I arrived the restaurant at 1pm and ordered spring roasted chicken with french fries, the dish was served around 130pm, when I cut opened the spring chicken, I can see a channel of blood coming out from the chicken,  I informed the waitress politely and 2 waitresses came to my table and they seemed to be quite shocked too when they saw the blood (but no apology) and offered to bring it back to the kitchen.  145pm one waitress brought back the chicken and I was actually quite worried to find out if it is the same chicken, because the meat could be very rough if it's over cooked, not surprisingly, it's the same chicken, when I put my knife on the meat I knew it's over cooked
.  I didnt say anything but continued eating other part of the chicken hoping that it wont be as bad as I thought, unfortunately I still felt that I was chewing rubber, I informed the manager nicely and told him that I will try to eat some more and let him know if it became unacceptable (honestly I really wasn't aiming to make a big fuss in the restaurant !).  No apology from the manager but only an unpleasant look on his face and he walked away
 I tried a few more bites and decided that I cannot eat it anymore, the meat was so dry and rough (by the way the lunch set is $188 excluding service charge).  I then spoke to the manager again and I actually apologised and informed him that I cannot finish the chicken, he stared at me with an angry face and offered to cook me another chicken (that was almost 2pm), I told him that I cant wait for anther 30mins as I only have one hour for lunch and I needed to leave, he stared at me again with black face and very unwillingly offered to cancel the bill and walked away, again no apology !  Finally it reached my bottom line and  I brought him back to my table and told him that I am the victim not him,  I should be the upset one not him, again no apology !!! the whole experience showed how unprofessional the manager and their staff were when crises happened in a situation like this !  zero courtesy to apologise to the customer from the beginning  to the end and zero brain to recook the same chicken in order to save cost, if the chef decided to cook a new chicken when I first complained, this unpleasant experience may have not occured.  As a result of this crises,  I didnt have lunch today and the minute I walked out from their restaurant I still havent heard one apology at all ~~!!!  Once in a while, Hong Kong has been ranked as the most rudest customer service among the world, I wonder why ????
