Having heard a lot of good things about this chain restaurant (rumoured ex four seasons chef etc.), I decided to pop in for a relaxing lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The menu comes with a wide variety of choices, and I decided to choose the set with:

1xsea urchin and salmon sashimi rice (a boston rice bowl of your choice)
2xyakitori
1xudon
+the usual appetizers, miso soup etc.

All for, I think it was, $138 or $158

The restaurant is pretty spacious, with special lighting designs and rather spacious seatings. Bar tables are also set up for couple or solo diners (like myself) to speed up the service and efficiency.

At the bar table, diners can also enjoy watching the chefs working away on making sushi, or in my case, flipping the yakitoris.

First came the appetizers, which was a salad and some fried stuff with vinegar and soy sauce. Very japanese -

Next up was the udon - which are the more "luxury" type of flat Inaniwa udon (稻亭 udon)

Then the yakitoris - bacon wrapped asparagus, and chicken wings -

Then finally, the highlight of the meal - sea urchin and salmon sashimi rice. It was a little disappointing given the menu showed a display picture with half the bowl topped with sea urchin. Nonetheless, the ingredients are fresh! -

Overall, it was a great dining experience, but the restaurant could manage the order of the food to amp up the customer experience. I had my food in the order above, and they taste great. However, since the most anticipated dish was the sea urchin sashimi rice, and it was a cold dish, it should be served right after the appetizers, then the yakitori and end with the filling udon bowl to get a more satisfied customer!
