This was a surprise place boyfriend brought me to. He said...yeah, I'm taking you to ghetto Western tonight. And in we entered a cha chan teng. A restaurant with only a Chinese name but served Chinese western food....no not baked spaghetti or swiss chicken wings but pizza, donars, roast chicken and German pork knuckle. All for sets around $40. They also had a bilingual menu!We ordered half a herb roasted chicken and pork knuckle. Both sets were $50.The half a roasted chicken came with yes, Chine
We ordered half a herb roasted chicken and pork knuckle. Both sets were $50.
The half a roasted chicken came with yes, Chinese vegetables and a Thai dipping sauce. East meets West. The herbs were tossed all over the chicken but it was tender!
Pork knuckle just fell off the bone. Mashed potatoes were huge scoops but seriously disgusting as it was stuff from a mix and tasted like cardboard. But the knuckle was great!
Portion sizes were plenty. You walked out full.
And wash it down with cha chan teng ice lemon tea. Western Chinese with cha chan teng service.
