I live in K Town and come here about once a month. First off this has to be the cleanest kebab joint I've ever been to. Seriously, it's kept shockingly clean and food is handled with care. HAving worked in restaurants I can appreciate a well run and tidy kitchen.Secondly, the owners are super friendly and it's nice to have a place where you're recognized as a regular. Thirdly, I tend to show up here at odd hours, either late night or a late afternoon snack. What's surprised me is how consistent

I live in K Town and come here about once a month. First off this has to be the cleanest kebab joint I've ever been to. Seriously, it's kept shockingly clean and food is handled with care. HAving worked in restaurants I can appreciate a well run and tidy kitchen.

Secondly, the owners are super friendly and it's nice to have a place where you're recognized as a regular.

Thirdly, I tend to show up here at odd hours, either late night or a late afternoon snack. What's surprised me is how consistent the food is regardless of when I show up.

Food wise it's definitely the best kebab/ middle eastern fair available in this part of town less u want to go out to Central where there are plenty of good options.

I usually go for the chicken sheesh taouk with rice. It's cooked to order, succulent and seasoned nicely on a bed of rice. The hummus is okay (not bad, not the best). And the fries are, well, they're good fries but they're not overly greasy or fried in old oil.

So I'm not going to say this place is going to blow your mind or it's the best kebab you've had. But it's a solid place, with consistently good food-- and they treat you right here.
