Cantina, a italian trattoria at Tai Kwun, has launched a new menu recently. All of their new dishes are inspired by Matteo’s nostalgic home-cooking. I am so excited to taste all the dishes.

Starting with the Sicilian Red Prawn Carpaccio, which is one of the signature dishes in the restaurant. It tastes light but savoury with a hint of sweetness which is a great appetiser to tantalise your palate!

Besides that, I would like to highlight my favourite, their Homemade Tagliolini with Black Truffle and Parmesan Cheese! The flavours and aromas are sosososo intense. If you are a truffle lover, you will love it so bad!

One of the unexpected dishes is their Braised Beef Cheek. Chef Matteo disclosed that, the beef was slow cooked for over 15 hours, and that is why it is so tender and juicy. You won’t believe that until the meat literally melt in your mouth!

With a glorious setting and elegant interior design, Cantina trattoria is suitable for dating and chilling with your lovely one. Not to mention, you can also enjoy some sophisticated cocktails there and of course I love that so much!
