Tonight I met up with one of my ex-colleague who stayed at Shau Kei Wan for dinner. He told me that there is one Thai restaurant that was opened just couple of months ago and was always crowded, so we can go try it out. Thai One was located at Shau Kei Wan Main Street East, couple of minutes from Shau Kei Wan MTR.The staff told me that their chefs were from Thailand and menu was rather comprehensive, with wide range of dishes from appetizers, main course, meat, noodles or rice and desserts etc.

Iced longan drink was sweet and clear, with several longan in it and was chewy and soft. Iced coconut milk was sweet and milky as well, smooth texture.
Tong Choi cooked with Thai style - For the vegetables, there were few options on how we wanted it to be cooked. It was cooked till soft and juicy, with slight spiciness, which suited me.
Pad Thai with seafood - The serving was huge, which was able to serve 2 person. Omelette was used to wrap the noodle, and the noodles were flavourful and chewy. Prawns and squid were chewy and juicy as well. It will be better if it was more spicy.
Fried rice with shrimp paste - The portion was again huge, and it was fried with shrimp paste. The rice was fragrant, and not sticky at all. I was able to taste shrimp meat in it and was flavourful.
Glutinous rice with mango - It was served with whole piece of mango in it and there were alot of coconut milk. Mango was soft and juicy, and glutinous rice was chewy and sticky, going well with the coconut milk.
