Good place to go for Winter ! It’s always a good idea to eat Claypot rice, one of the signature dish of Hong Kong, during the winter. This is a really famous store in terms of Claypot rice so we decided to go during weekday lunch hours. I tried visiting on a Friday night and I had no luck getting a table that time. For a party of three, we ordered two side dish, some Dim Sum (which I didn’t take pictures of) and two Claypot rice. I would say this amount of food was enough, so adjust accordingly.

All the food were served hot, so the flavour was outstanding. I feel like Hong Kong cuisines generally are quite strong in flavour, so if you’re looking for some authentic HK food, this is the place you would want to visit!

The two side dish were deep fried squid and tofu. As there were served hot, I knew they were freshly made from the kitchen. The crisp were on point and the sauce definitely added colours to the dish.

The two Claypot rice were awesome. We ordered the Chinese sausage and fish Claypot and the other one wad Pouched egg with Beef. When it was served, the server would ask you if you would like them to add the soy sauce for you for not. We wanted to try the authentic taste so we let the server do their job. The food was great and we finished everything without any leftovers !!

The overall dining experience was great and memorable. I would definitely come to try again, but would have to avoid peak hours !
