I love how this British restaurant has a rooftop area with a small train track plus a slide for kids to hang out while parents can chill out and enjoy the food. I’ve spent 2 hours with my wife and little one during my visit. One thing that caught my attention is that tables are well spread out where you won't be dining next to your neighbor within an arms length. There aren't too many choices from the set lunch menu A & B but I guess it doesn't matter much when the food is delicious.Scotch eg
Scotch egg and soldiers - dip that sourdough into the runny duck egg and that will put a smile on your face
Chicken pie - a classic dish of crisp pastry filled with cream chicken
Wood ear mushroom risotto - thought it tasted rather bland on the first bite but as you dig into the center of the dish you'll get a stronger taste of wild mushroom and wood ear
Lancashire hot pot - the lamb is a tad sour but went well with the thinly sliced potato
