The best meal of my life. How's that for an opening line? I can't really say it any other way. Their David Blackmore wagyu still haunts me. The best meal of my life. How's that for an opening line? I can't really say it any other way. Their David Blackmore wagyu still haunts me. Every steak I have eaten before and after simply can't compete. To say we enjoyed their Degustation Menu is an understatement. Service was friendly and impeccable. I called an hour before to reserve a table for 7:30 pm and was surprised to be accommodated. It wasn't until around 9pm when the whole place filled up. The clientele was a mix of the Hong Kong glamorous set and expats. This is a classy place for grown ups, although I did see a baby sleeping in a pram.

From the Degustation Menu, I preferred the David Blackmore wagyu most over the Bryan Flannery dry-aged steak. I found the cheese platter too strong for my taste. I wish they had served real dessert instead. We loved the appetizer sampler plate and the House Smoked ‘Kinboshi Sagabuta’ Pork-Belly.
