Attentive and welcoming.

Ambiance:
Cosy and homily. The open kitchen is very close to the seating. Sizzling sound when ingredients hit the frying pan was distracting.

Coffee ribs:
As a starter, four ribs were served in a large coffee cup and saucer (with whipped cream). Hint of coffee aroma. While the meat was well cooked enough to fall off the bone at the slightest touch, the texture to bite was in one word desiccated.

The vanilla in the whipped cream nevertheless brought out the coffee flavour.

Prawn salad with special house dressing:
Literally, one "prawn" salad. Singular and lonely. Quite fresh, not the crunchiest. The special dressing was thousand island??

Pork chop:
Nicely caramelised onions in balsamico. The pork was succulent. Garnished with crunchy, juicy to grilled courgette.
Pan-fried  pork  chop  caramelised onions in balsamic gravy  ,  with  rice.
