Our friends went to Japan earlier this year, then they started loving Japanese Sake since. They know that my hubby and I are sake lovers too hence they invited us to come to this restaurant as their favourite sake brewer is in town this week. We planned to join the sake tasting dinner however it was already fully booked, however we still managed to book a table for dinner and order the sake our friend loves. Kaze No Mori is the brand our friend is in love with and she highly recommended it. We ordered the Nama Sake and it was refreshing and fruity and it was lovely just by itself. We ordered quite a lot of food tonight. I personally love the sea bass best and the steak sandwich and the other dishes were OK. My hubby and I both believe that the food here is really nothing like an Izakaya place, actually far from it, it was more like a modern international with a light touch of Japanese. My apology that I do not know the name of the dishes as our friends ordered them all 😅. We would definitely be back for the food and it is quite a nice place for small group catch up with live Jazz.
