Looking for restaurant to impress in a celebratory meal while on a budget? Here’s a good one for you. A French lunch up in the sky on 101th floor with an extensive uninterrupted harbour view, decent food and ambiance yet at a surprisingly affordable price.Their mix and match lunch menu allows diners to select dish by dish instead of a fixed starter to dessert progressive courses. Just select the dishes that you like and will charge based on number of dishes ordered.I would say the starter dishes

I would say the starter dishes are much more enticing than the mains. The duck foie gras mousse is very well-balanced with the refreshing yuzu gel on top, served with perfectly toasted brioche that is crispy on the edges but so soft in the center.

The scallop dish is such a luxurious and delicate seafood delight. The caviar, fresh Hokkaido scallops and rich lobster bisque all packed with umami flavors.

The Mediterranean octopus was presented as a beautiful terrine with vibrant colors and punchy refreshing flavor. Octopus was very tender.

The mains on the contrary were a bit lackluster. A4 sirloin was nice but very ordinary, wasn’t worth adding $290 for (which is almost the 3-course price). The slow cooked yellow chicken was also quite underwhelming, overall lacked flavor.

The chocolate soufflé is perfectly risen with very rich dark chocolate flavor, super indulgent and satisfying. The avocado sorbet on the side though doesn’t taste so good, it is refreshing but taste quite weird with a grassy note.
There was a final surprise at the end with the cutest celebration arrangement presenting the petit four with a music box in a chocolate cake kinda appearance (faked us all!) and Mr.Koala biking joyously with the birthday song, how cute was that! It’s really lovely and just put a smile on everyone’s face! A hearty end to an incredible meal.
