OMG OMG OMG! What a rip off!!!! This is going to be a short review, basically the story goes like this:This morning I decided to try this place on my way to work. I go in, ask for the usual Chi Daan Zhi (although this time for the first time I had to repeat a few times until I was understood) and I mention no drink and the waitress asked the lady in charge what to charge me, she replies something that sounded unfamiliar, so I asked them to please write it for me and my eyes popped when I see 21H
This is going to be a short review, basically the story goes like this:
I had spare coins ready in my hand for up to 18HKD (which had been so far the most I ever paid for this sandwich), so I could not help but mention: hou kwai la! And then the lady in charge, gets kind of pissed off and starts telling me how cheese is really expensive... yada yada yada, while giving me the crazy eye...
First of all, relax the attitude, my comment had been with a smile on my face + not loud at all, so I don't see the point on getting aggressive... Secondly, well, I kind of know about the prices of chi daan zhi lately... But well, since I have been complaining about the cheese, maybe this place do actually use a much better cheese, which would justify a higher price... for 21HKD nothing short of Manchego would seem fair hahahahaha Let's see how it turned out...
Value for money: 0/10 - 21HKD for this when I can get better ones for 14HKD, 15HKD and even 18HKD just a few steps sway! Are you kidding me???
Gwailo friendly: 0/10 - Basically the attitude ruined any "friendliness" rating for this place. I must say the waitress was nice and calm, it was the lady in charge that was the issue here...
In conclusion, if you want Chi Daan Zhi and walk past this place, keep walking and don't look back!!! Your taste buds and wallet will thank you for it!!!!
