You have your artisan jam cafe and shiba cafe on See Cheung Street next to the local Chinese Steamed Bun (Cha Kwo) stall. I picked this Blacksmith cafe predominantly because it didn’t have a line and that it looks stylish (yes shallow me).

The coffee is decent. Good range for selection including cold brew and single origin beans. Beware though some choices can run out of stock pretty quickly eg ice drop). The Italian espresso bases coffees are alright, didn’t get any distinctive aroma last time I tried. Can’t qualify as impressive but definitely not bad.

This cafe also carries a wide selection for food - good for brunch or lunch. I tried the pulled pork burger - curly fries was delish and the burger itself could do with crispier buns but the slaw and the pulled pork was quite juicy and yummy.

Ambience wise, not too spacious seats I have to say but patrons are considerate. Air conditioning quite weird though be sure to pick an airy enough table.

Servers are courteous and well mannered.

Given the amount of coffee shop with 100m of this shop, I hope it can survive the crazy rent of HK.
