This place was a pleasant surprise. It's an easy one just to pass by, but turned out to be one of our favourites on Lamma. The menu is packed with equally appealing options, and it's a struggle to choose only a few dishes. The menu is packed with equally appealing options, and it's a struggle to choose only a few dishes. There are several hotpot and sizzling options (there are a lot of Sichuan dishes) which have all been tasty with generous amounts of vegetables too. The portions sizes are all really great - we had 3 dishes and 2 bowls of rice between the two of us and were stuffed. A definite recommendation is the salt and pepper squid - fresh taste, light batter, not rubbery and with a great, but not overwhelming pepper kick.

It has a lovely view over the harbour if you sit out the back - however the interior decor leaves something to be desired. The service is quick, but you never feel rushed to leave.

It's good, dependable food, and we have never had to wait for a table. The prices are reasonable also - the dishes average around $80 each. Definitely give it a go next time you're on Lamma.
