🐟Steamed Icelandic Cod HKD 268
💭Beautifully executed, the cod was a beautiful marble white colour and its texture was moist and tender. However, the garnishes and sauce were what made this dish unique!😍The combination of lentils and thinly sliced celtuce was so different, yet, went really well with the cod in terms of both flavour and texture! The sauce, based on a pumpkin chorizo purée topped with tarragon, was the perfect balance of sweet and savoury, perfect with the cod which had more of a mild flavour. I had no idea it was made of pumpkin and chorizo, just a brilliant harmony of flavours👍🏻

💭Incredibly tender and soft with smokey notes from the grill, chef definitely nailed it!😍 I wasn’t a fan of the lemon mayonnaise though🙈 but the bed of chickpea, frisée and radish was a super hearty combo👍🏻

💭Personally, I prefer semi-hard/hard cheese to soft cheese, so comte was perfect for me. the soft cheese on offer was Brie I think, and also paired quite well with the walnut bread.
