Was visiting too early before their opening last time, finally managed to try it this weekend.

Restaurant was bright and cozy. Modern orange and gold furniture with a high ceiling giving a spacious feeling.

Making orders via QR code was convenient with their menu served aside to read the food description. You could tell their selling point was their variety of coffee instead of their cafe food.

We ordered their lemon juice marinated chicken with bacon and mozzarella cheese panini and mixed mushrooms with mozzarella cheese and black truffle sauce panini. For drinks, we got the regular long black and Uji ceremonial matcha latte.

I picked using their Alchemy blend for their long black. Nutty and aromatic. While Uji ceremonial matcha latte was earthy. Hint of soy sweetness from the soy milk paired perfectly with the bitterness of the matcha. Silky smooth texture.

Panini bun was crispy and light. Light toasted. Perfectly sandwich sealed by the melted cheese heated by the panini toaster. Lemon juice marinated chicken wasn't as lemony as I was expecting. Bacon kind of overpowering the whole sandwich flavour. It was very savoury, nearly to the point salty. Amount of mushrooms served in mixed mushroom panini was guaranteed, but only king and button mushrooms used. It was heavily herby seasoned with cracking good quality black pepper. Strong truffle herby umami flavour with a long cheese pull.

It was a decent place to sit and have a long catch up with your companions. Quality drinks served but so-so food.
