I sometimes want to visit a cozy café for brunch on Sunday. My friend recommends Coti after trying the Shek Mun branch, so I would like to give it a try too. I visited the Kwun Tong branch because I was checking some IG shops afterwards. It takes around 10 minutes to walk from Mtr to Coti (Kwun Tong), not too bad on a normal day. Set lunch consists of varieties of choices, including rice, pasta, all day breakfast, salad and waffle. I was quite hungry at 12, so I opted for grilled eel with scramb
Set lunch consists of varieties of choices, including rice, pasta, all day breakfast, salad and waffle. I was quite hungry at 12, so I opted for grilled eel with scrambled eggs and rice ($88). One could have different sensory experiences for tasting scrambled eggs. What served by the chef that day was a soft and creamy one which was perfect for me. I like how sufficient veggies were sided to balance the diet.
A Sunday brunch without a sweet drink is incomplete. I added $18 for a cup of hot matcha latte. I always take time to enjoy matcha drink for the fruitful flavor journey. Slightly bitter at first, next smooth and unami, then transiting gradually to a sweet aftertaste that lingers. Probably no extra sweetness has been added, so I can taste the matcha genuinely.
