I was lucky to be one of the 300 people to get a #createyourtastehk tote bag.
1/11 was the best day to go because people were still having hangovers from Halloween and the residents at TKO are mostly elderly who don’t use Facebook or Instagram because according to McDonald’s you are required to post on social media to get the tote bag.
You can imagine all the elderly who queued all the way to the ordering station and didn’t have octopus or enough credit to pay.
Even if they did managed to pay, they didn’t get past the social media step but fortunately McDonald’s were able to bend the rule slightly for them.I thought it was fun to monitor an elderly to see if they treated her nicely or took the piss.
This is my sixth time eating a #createyourtastehk burger even though I haven’t really written about it.They have added asparagus and sweet potatoes options as promoted earlier at the TST Green Monday event.
Although it is good that vegetarians can order a burger with just veggies, it does not cost any cheaper without the beef patty, which is stupid.
My favourite ingredients are the bacon and sweet potatoes because the bacon is really crispy and the soft sweet potato goes really well with it.
Again, the limitation is the cheese, you can’t choose more than 4 slices of the same cheese which is sad because I love cheddar.The cheddar in the picture is funny because cheddar doesn’t have holes.
Hopefully one day, you can have fish/chicken options as well as beef.Post
