On the tram home, I saw a new burger place had opened at the Hotel Hennessy lobby area. Menu is in English and Chinese except for the seasonal item. Combos are available for $28 which include an appetier of soup, salad or fries and a drink with possible upgrades. They also offer other items like pasta.

We decided to upgrade our drinks for $18 because we weren't interested in the set drink of hot tea. I had the strawberry lemon black tea (on the left) and boyfriend had the mix fruit soda (on the right). The drinks were not too sweet.

Boyfriend had the Oysters and Wagyu Beef Burger ($138). Talk about a tall burger! It said it used bread from Bakehouse. It was a softly sweet brioche.  The type of bun I like with a burger. There were two crispy deep fried oysters on top of the juicy beef patty. It was well seasoned, crisp lettuce and melted cheddar.

For the combo snack, he chose Sweet Potato Fries ($8). Crispy and sweet, it came with a seasame garlic mayo dipping sauce.

I had the Shrimp Pineapple Burger ($88). This was really good. I think better than the wagyu burger. The shrimp patty was crispy and had plenty of shrimp. There was a piece of shrimp in almost every bite. Fresh lettuce and the same sweet brioche bun was used. A grilled pineapple gave it a sour sweet tang. And everything was smothered with their house sauce that was very spicy. This took me by surprise as it didn't say it was spicy on the menu. But oddly all the flavours worked.

For my appetizer I had the Cream of Mushroom Soup. Plenty of mushrooms along with corn that made it extremely sweet. As I'm not a fan of fries, I liked this choice of soup as an appetizer.

Interesting burger combinations that were definitely creative. Would be interested in seeing what other combinations they offer.
