It felt very welcoming when I entered the restaurant. There was a table with some small appetizers waiting for us. We were served some kung fu chiu chow tea which was amazing. Truly amazing. Then there was a server who brought us to the front where all the meat and fish is displayed and suggested with patience, what we should get. We got Goose Blood, and is my first time. I have always liked pork blood and this is just way better. Solid texture and tons of flavor. Baby oyster congee has always been a must in my chiu chow family dinners. It was flavorful from the plentiful sundried anchovies they cooked it with. The goose meat and goose intestines were just alright, but the sauce they served with it was the best I have ever had. I believe it was a secret recipe. Their fried shrimp and crab balls, a chiu chow delight, were a little disappointing due to how easily they broke apart, meaning there was a lack of shrimp or crab meat. Too much other ingredients. Comparable to a home made italian meat ball. It was more expensive than usual here so I would need a really good reason to return.
