Deciding on a late lunch, I decided to give Malacca Cuisine a try. There are several branches and I realized I've never actually eaten there.During afternoon tea time, they have a tea time menu that comes with a drink. Menu in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. For my drink I had a lemongrass orange drink. They offered a variety of set drink options besides the usual. This was a nice mix of orange and lemon tea. There was a stick of lemongrass in it.I had the Hainan chicken rice

I had the Hainan chicken rice ($42). As it was tea time, it was served in one bowl so the amount of rice was less but it was acceptable amount for me. The chicken was boneless. The skin wasn't too fat and the chicken was quite tender. The rice was a it on the salty side but it wasn't too oily. Over all, quite decent.
Probably be back again as it was clean enough. Food came out quickly and it tasted quite ok.
