I am deeply disappointed with my recent visit to Grappa's QRE. The staff's deceptive behavior and overall experience left me infuriated.
We were told most tables were fully booked by 6 pm, justifying our uncomfortable seat. However, by 6:45 pm, the restaurant was less than one-third full, revealing their deceitful tactics.
Not only were we misled about table availability, but the staff also disregarded our comfort. We endured an ill-suited seat while suitable options remained vacant. Their priority was filling seats quickly, not providing a pleasant dining experience.
The service remained lackluster throughout the evening. The staff showed indifference to our satisfaction, failing basic standards of hospitality. Their behavior was inexcusable, lacking respect for customers.
Furthermore, I observed a clear disparity based on language. Speaking Cantonese due to limited English proficiency, I noticed other diners speaking English received much more courteous treatment. This discriminatory behavior was humiliating.
I am deeply frustrated and disappointed by my visit. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call, urging the restaurant to reevaluate their practices and prioritize customer satisfaction.
