Wanted to try Tony Wong Patisserie for long. Finally,I got the chance. So glad to know that a shop has been opened in Wan Chai (somewhere behind Times Square), so close to my workplace. So, I've visited Tony Wong twice in few days~

Take Away:
(1) Lychee dome : nice looking and tasty. Smooth texture (vanilla?) with light and fresh lychee taste (not strong fake lychee taste), with my favourite Rasberry inside. Very special combination. I think the rose is just for decoration??!!!

(2) Green tea opera: I am interested in all Green tea things. So, the dense green colour catches my eyes instantly. However, I was quite disappointed with both the texture and the taste. The cake is not smooth enough, a litttle bit hard. And the green tea is quite bitter. May be I am such a sweet lover that always expect a sweet version of green tea. I also prefer a stronger chocolate taste.

Dine-in:
Today after lunch, I spare sometimes to visit the shop again!

(1) Chocolate truffle cake: Nice shinny dome creature. Chocolate lover must order it. Although I don't like mousse texture dessert very much, I still love it. The chocolate taste is so strong and the texture is so smooth that gives you a sense of luxury. The crunchy things balacne the rich and heavy chocolate. Love it!!!

(2) Cherry Napoleon: Nice decorated. The crispy honeycomb thing on top, I guess is cheese with caramel on top?? ( I am not quite sure), tasty!!! The pastry is very crispy one and taste really nice. The cherries are juicy. However, only one problem is it's hard to taste the dessert as a whole. So, I need to seperate it by parts. It would be great if the 'height' of the napoleon can be reduced.

I think the dessert here definitely worth the money. Of course, it's not cheap AT ALL! But for a sweet lover, I am happy to spend the money even though one piece of cake can be more expensive than a lunch. As least I am happy to see them and happy to taste them. I can't wait to try the rest of the nice and charming cakes. I am eager to try the mini rose cake, but it costs $1XX for a piece.
I also want to try the earl grey tea which I can't see them today.
