I came across Pete's Place via social media. I was attracted by the nice pictures of their food on IG. Took four of my younger colleagues there and see if the food tastes as good as it looks.

The place is waiting for its liquor license and currently operating on a BYO basis. There were a big group of uncles and aunties there already, exploiting the BYO policy, when we arrived that evening.

We shared 5 starters (Grilled Octopus, Scotch Eggs, Tuna Tataki, Grilled Asparagus & Halloumi Cheese, Chicken Anticucho) and 4 main courses (Roasted Peer BBQ Ribs, Wagyu Tenderloin, Roasted Duck Papadelle, Seafood Paella  a la negro) plus a big plate of truffle fries. All are good and washed down joyfully with our wine.

Service is warm and cozy. TM, who served us, was able to make us feel home. Stemware is proper and appropriate - flutes for our bubbly, burgundy glasses for our Brunello and Kiwi Pinot.

I had already booked this place for another dinner with friends next week before I asked for the bill. I definitely recommend this place to my friends.
