We ate here after craving a specific dish - we used to order dan dan noodles from a restaurant that has since closed down, and found that this place also offered them. They were delicious! We also ordered their lotus root slices, fried comfort noodles, and the impossible dumplings (dumplings with vegan 'impossible' meat inside), and had some of their draft beer (little creatures IPA - very nice). The concept revolves around three different types of spice (I think Ma, La, and Tang?), so we tried to order one dish from each section. The lotus root slices were delicious but very hot, the dumplings nicely spiced, and the noodle dishes quite numbing with sichuan pepper - I think ordering a mix of dishes worked really nicely.

We did feel a little bit as if the staff wanted us to eat quickly and they hovered around us, but in general that didn't bother us too much and we had a really nice meal here. It has a really wonderful range of options for vegetarian diners, which can be hard to find in HK - and they're delicious.
