Not sure if I've expressed my love for chicken pot but this is definitely my favorite food! Thrilled to stumble upon this newly opened restaurant serving up different types of chicken pots in my neighborhood. The botanic decor on the walls with a contemporary twist differentiates itself from other hot pot restaurants.Fish maw chicken pot, as its signature, was beautifully presented. Fish maw chicken pot, as its signature, was beautifully presented. Nourishing and flavorful soup. Huangjiu chicken pot was a standout. Intense ginger and fragrant yellow wine in the soup. The chicken skin had a good amount of fat while the meat was smooth and tender.
Tried a couple of cold dishes as well. Tofu topped with century egg made an interesting combo tossed with bonito flakes and pork floss. Okra, served with wasabi and soy sauce was my healthy choice. Black fungus, on the other hand, was vinegary and appetizing, while smashed cucumber mixed with chopped garlic and Sichuan sauce was refreshing and slightly spicy.
Overall excellent food quality and incredibly cheap prices. No wonder this restaurant is always packed with customers!
