We visited the restaurant at 6:30 PM, and while it was quite busy with four tables occupied, the staff seemed to be managing well. However, it took a bit of time to place our drink orders, perhaps indicating they were still familiarizing themselves with the beverage menu. For our food choices, we ordered the pork loin (cooked to a perfect medium-rare with delicious pumpkin puree), scallop crepe (which was quite average), bone marrow, and the goose liver pasta (which was a bit bland and underwhelm
For our food choices, we ordered the pork loin (cooked to a perfect medium-rare with delicious pumpkin puree), scallop crepe (which was quite average), bone marrow, and the goose liver pasta (which was a bit bland and underwhelming). We also tried the oysters, though two of them had some shell fragments.
The staff were efficient in clearing our plates, sometimes a bit too quickly, as they seemed eager to maintain a fast pace throughout the meal. We appreciated the initial notice about the 90-minute time limit, which we found acceptable. However, when it came time to settle the bill, the experience was a bit abrupt. The server approached us during our conversation, holding the bill and credit card machine, and said, "Here’s your bill," without much of a welcoming tone.
It felt as though the service improved only when higher management was present, which left us a bit disappointed. While we enjoyed certain aspects of our meal, we may reconsider returning to this restaurant in the future.
