We went to Lamma Island and thought we would try the 'tier 2" restaurant instead of the v. famous and packed one. We looked at the comments and gave it a go to this one. It was a weekday so we didn't expect to be packed there anyway. We ordered a dinner set for two at $458:

Lobster in herbs - sauce was good but lobster was small which wasn't very meaty
Steamed fish - perhaps it was meant for two people so it wasn't very big, quite salty though
Steamed scallops - only two pieces and each scallop was covered with the sauce and vermecille that we nearly couldn't find it. It was just soooo tiny, man...
Vegetable - this was the best dish for the night!
Fried rice - there were shrimps inside but the horror was that you could see a lot of dirty intestines (black) inside the rice! They also put ham slices in it which didn't really go with the dish.

Not sure if we picked the wrong choice to go with a dinner set. It wasn't cheap at all but definitely not worth the price. The reason we went on a weekday was to avoid the crowd but didn't realise the food could be that bad. Quite a disappointment for going all the way to the island. We could have stayed in the city and have something much better with this price.
