Very disappointing. I ordered a birthday cake for pick-up at 11:15am on a Saturday. I even called on Friday to confirm the pick-up time, they told me it would be fine. I arrive at around 11:30am and the shop is not opened yet. Long story short, I waited until 12:20pm (!!!!) and the employee with the keys was still 'stuck in traffic'. Thankfully, another employee was also outside waiting and had the cake available (but no bag or candles - which I had requested for earlier). Since I was already
I arrive at around 11:30am and the shop is not opened yet. Long story short, I waited until 12:20pm (!!!!) and the employee with the keys was still 'stuck in traffic'. Thankfully, another employee was also outside waiting and had the cake available (but no bag or candles - which I had requested for earlier). Since I was already late to the birthday lunch, I had no choice but to leave and buy my own candles after waiting for almost an hour. Horrible horrible.. and no one called to apologize!!
I ordered the banoffee cake - it was quite yummy. Overall, however, I would NOT rely on this place for ordering any cakes etc for special events.
