Had dinner at the Carbone. Our bread plates were badly chipped so I asked to replace them. They replaced promptly but the sommelier came around to tell me it was not unusual in Italy to eat on chipped plates, which is an experience I have never countered at every price level the many years I have travelled to Italy. My friend and I shared a pasta, the chicken and the beef Diana and a side. The dinner was ok, not memorable. Will not go back. Much better food and service elsewhere in Central.
