This Mixian restaurant used to be on my top 3 list because of the nice quality and good value. However the quality has dropped so much these years. One good thing was that the amount of toppings were still generous. I especially liked their pork belly cooked in lo sui sauce. Not just lean meat but had some fatty layers too.

Their soup base used to have lots of peppercorn and chili, tasted so rich and flavorful and very spicy. This time it was just plain broth with so much MSG and they simply added chili sauce on top depending on the order of spiciness. Mixian was also too overcooked and too soft. Very disappointing.
