Felt like having a slow long lunch and there were tons of choices on High Street. Flying Pig seemed to have a more diversified menu than other standard "western cuisine" restaurants.I picked the lunch menu Porchetta $128, an Italian recipe of slow-roasted pork belly. Very fat pork! Only 1/3 of the pork was meat. Some part of the skin was burnt, and other parts were not crispy. No matter how much I chewed I couldn't swallow. Felt like having a slow long lunch and there were tons of choices on High Street. Flying Pig seemed to have a more diversified menu than other standard "western cuisine" restaurants.

I picked the lunch menu Porchetta $128, an Italian recipe of slow-roasted pork belly. Very fat pork! Only 1/3 of the pork was meat. Some part of the skin was burnt, and other parts were not crispy. No matter how much I chewed I couldn't swallow. It's supposed to be fennel stuffed rolled pork but obviously it was not rolled properly.

+$40 for a glass of wine was cheap. The house wine was dry, very tannic and rich.

Service was not bad. But the waitress seemed to care more about chatting with old customers instead of focusing on work.
