The hype around this new restaurant is hard to understand. After finally securing a reservation, I came away disappointed. The hype around this new restaurant is hard to understand. After finally securing a reservation, I came away disappointed. The only highlights were the focaccia and the desserts - the sea salt Sicilian pistachio gelato and hazelnut gelato were quite good.

However, the overall experience was lacking. The service felt inattentive, and the portion sizes were on the small side, even for a woman. I've been to other high-end Italian restaurants that provided a more satisfying meal.

The pasta in the uni pasta dish was also slightly undercooked. This is an unexpected miss for a restaurant touted as a destination for fine Italian cuisine.

Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed given the difficulty in booking a table and the restaurant's reputation. Unless they make some marked improvements, I don't see a reason to return or recommend this place. There are better options for Italian fine dining in the area.
