Decided to try Mak’s Noodle for an early dinner. I randomly walked in, so I wasn’t aware of all the negative reviews this place had, but in hindsight I wish I had checked Openrice before I tried. There were a lot less people inside than in all the neighbouring restaurants, so perhaps I should have taken that as a sign. I had Pork Wonton and Shrimp Wonton with noodles. I had Pork Wonton and Shrimp Wonton with noodles. The serving was extremely small. I finished all the noodles in 2 bites, literally! It might seem like more in the photo, but that’s because of the wontons nested under the noodles push them to the surface.
The Pork Wonton’s were not particularly tasty, while the Shrimp Wonton’s simply didn’t taste much at all.
On the whole, very expensive, compared with other restaurants offering this dish in Jordan and HK.
