To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. — Probably one of my all time favourite desserts and this definitely hit the spot! The mixed berry sponge cake layer had a good tartness to it to balance out the sweetness from the meringue and vanilla ice cream. The splash of flambéed dark rum really sealed the deal here. It was super aromatic, rich and complemented all the flavours perfectly.

— Great appetiser to start off with! The octopus was nice and tender with a slight saltiness to it. I loved the guacamole which had the perfect amount of acidity to it that really opened up your appetite.

— Was pretty disappointed by this dish especially at the price point. The pork chop was under seasoned and quite dry and tough as well. (Our waiter recommended this to us and said the meat was going to be very tender and juicy, but definitely not the case 😅) The forest mushroom sauce was alright but there wasn’t enough of it.

— The handmade pasta was super chewy and cooked to a perfect al-dente texture. I loved that the sauce was really rich and full of flavour without being overly salty or overpowering. The italian sausage gave the dish a nice smoky and slight spicy flavour. The artichokes give the dish a slight crunch and a deep earthy flavour.

— Bread was good and I loved the pesto sauce that came with it. The ham had a good nutty and savoury flavour that went super well with the bread.


Pic 6️⃣: 𝓐𝓵𝓶𝓸𝓷𝓭 𝓢𝓹𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓮 𝓒𝓪𝓴𝓮
— Complimentary sweet treat to end the meal with. Cute appearance as it imitates the Italian flag, a very sweet sponge cake slice with a slight almond flavour to it.
