I have recently been trying to find some vintage cafes to do some photo shooting and enjoy being in an old age. Oldish is one of the many located at an industrial building without having any location advantages;while its interior design compensates a little bit of the disadvantage. The soup of the day does not show any particular efforts put by the restaurant. This is just a simple soup delivered at a fairly reasonable standard. It smells normal which I need to put a bit of salt and white pepper to make it even richer.

This is a medium-sized All-Day Breakfast which includes the following ingredients: sausage, scrambled eggs, bacon, mushroom, tomato, hash browns, baked beans, smoked salmon and ciabatta bread (Italian style). All-Day Breakfast was originated from Britain and designed for labours (long time ago) to fill their stomach for whole day from morning until early evening. Thus All-Day Breakfast has traditionally been a high-calorie English food. The one in here includes quite a wide variety of food types which shall be sufficient to make you full. The sausage is very much similar to those I ate in London during my study which performs quite well in terms of taste. Hash browns are hot and crunchy enough, while of course the taste is just like the ordinary. Bacon is a bit undercooked which I like it to be fried until there is some crispy texture on its fat.

The smoked duck breast & orange burger is served with French fries and salad. The burger itself is not soft enough which is a bit dry and hard in texture. The smoked duck breast is a bit too light in flavour in which I could not feel I was actually enjoying a piece of duck breast while eating all ingredients at once. It seems to leave quite significant room for improvement.
