I have only ever had this in central China in my wife's hometown, and to be perfectly honest i do prefer the mainland counterpart. The flavor though was really excellent and the pork belly was gorgeous. Highly recommended.

The second dish we got was the cold steamed chicken with a green onion garnish. The chicken was surprisingly tender. In my experience, this dish can often be overdone and underwhelming, but this time was quite good. The green onion garnish is great but maybe a bit too salty, so be careful.

The rest of the spread came after we stopped taking individual pictures, so shame on us!

The rest was a thoroughly decent Cantonese/Hakka spread, including a perfectly fine steamed grouper, fried shrimp in lemon sauce, and a dried seafood pea sprout dish. Those were all great but not stand-out-ish. For me, the best of the rest was the tofu with minced pork cubes, and the deep fried custard balls. The cubes are bigger than those i had before and the tofu was impressive and fresh HK tofu. The custard ball ive never had before but boy were they good!

Overall i think this is an impressive place to take guests for high quality southern Chinese food.

Also, the service was kind of impressive. The staff was very friendly. A little bit of Cantonese really seemed to make them smile!
