This seems to be a completely new venue. At least, in 10 years of living in HK, I have never been to anything in this location before. How refreshing. We booked the private dining room (which FYI can either seat 1 long table of 12 or two shorter tables of 7). The view is outstanding. We were there for lunch but can imagine dinner would be mind blowing with the night sky lit up. The food was exceptional. Can strongly recommend the lamb main dish and also the crab and lobster pasta, though everything that came out of the kitchen looked and tasted exceptional. The chocolate mousse dessert was also divine. We thought it tasted like it was made from a Terry’s chocolate orange, which is about the highest compliment we can give!
Service was also excellent. Highly attentive.
Later we moved to the bar upstairs, Top Town, which is connected by a staircase and also has amazing views over the city. Worth a visit for a pre or post meal cocktail.
Any criticism? Well, it’s not cheap but you can see where the money goes. “Value” therefore in a high end spender kind of way We had 3 courses and coffees and it worked out at about 1800 each including some really good wine. For non drinkers it was closer to 1400 per head.
