Barista Jam - probably the most geeky Cafe in Hong Kong right now!. Came past today and saw them offering Campos Superior Blend, which I think most Sydney-siders are fairly familiar with! At the original Sydney shop, this could taste thickly syrupy and bordering on bitter but very enjoyable. Under Barista Jam's hands, this was much more approachable - with a balanced cherry like sweet/sourness and a very wild old-world character somehow reminding you at the back palate of a slight darkish liquorice, almost bittery tone. This is so old-world and new-world all at once! Interesting... ~ 9/10
. Caffe Latte -
On another day, I got to try their House-Blend coffee. On this day, it was mostly about a milk-chocolatey yet very clean cup together with milk. Made with silky smooth milk and lovable pattern. This is definitely world standard coffee! ~ 7.5/10
. Lemon Tart -
This can sometimes go well with the more acidic type of Coffee, a nice contrasting to play around with your palate! Quite smooth yet sour at the same time! Not bad. 8/10
